Paper to CAD
We offer our paper to CAD conversion services to the following fields: Architectural, Engineering (mechanical, civil, geotechnical), We also convert site plans for environmental services and for the homeowner. We convert scanned drawings (jpg, tiff), blueprints and pdf files manually, without the use of automatic conversion software, to provide our clients with properly scaled and dimensionally accurate AutoCAD files. The drawing files that we create for you will meet your layer control and font style requirements and will be re-created at the following sizes: 8 ½ x 11, 11 x 17, 18 x 24, 24 x 36 or 36 x 42. We can receive your scan images, scanned at 200 dpi, in the following ways: CD, LeapFile or by e-mail. Once your drawing, or drawings, have been converted into a workable AutoCAD drawing file, that file will be saved in the AutoCAD version compatible with your company (R14 through 2008). That drawing file will then be returned to you, along with a Plot Style Table for plotting, by CD, LeapFile or by e-mail. PDF files can be created, upon request, of each of the newly converted drawing files also, and at no additional charge.
Our drafting rates for this conversion service are very simple: $35 per hour and a quote will be prepared for you for each drawing requiring conversion. Our turn-around options are 3, 5, 10, 30 and 35 business days, depending on the scope of the project. |
